NO MORE CROC SHOES .... AND HERE IS WHY!

  In about 2001 Sue Lain got in touch with Mike Magolia from Miami Fl. about selling Crocs shoes. The first time we called them we were at a bike rally and they were told that and about us going around the country as vendors of motorcycle items and Magolia was thrilled to death.
  We were doing something like 22 and23 shows a year from San Diego, Phoenix, Sturgis SD, Daytona, Laconia New Hampshire and lots of points in between. Magolia would inquire where we may be and going next. When Sue rang his phone he was happy and damn glad to hear from her. Stating at one time she was the # 2 sales people in the Company. During these years no one knew crocs nearly everyone made fun and sly remarks about the funny looking shoes. We continued to work Rallies never having a store front at home, selling only out of our home when we were home this fact was well known at that time with this Magolis fellow.
  This past May 2007 we were in Myrtle Beach working a bike rally, things were going well and we were selling a lot of shoes about 25 per day. Sue mentioned about running out of shoes we needed to try and do something. We called her daughter in Kentucky, she goes to our house and with Sues help finds the correct order forms and fax them to our motel in Myrtle Beach. Sue fills out the order and faxes it to Crocs. Their service is slow and has been for several years. So I decided to call them and would double the order if we could get 2 day delivery and I did. During this phone call told the lady what we wanted and to send the order to Myrtle Beach. She wanted to know why Myrtle Beach and not our normal address ounce I told her why she about lost it saying we could not do this and had to have a store front to sell their product. I told her this is the way it had been from the get go and she states it does not matter it had to stop.
I told Sue that night she was finished with Crocs and would never get another order from them. The next day this sales lady a (Kirsten) rang us saying after consulting with their legal department we could no longer sell their shoes and two day service was out of the question. I called this Mike Magolia who had moved higher up into the Company. He said he would plead our case the next day and would get back with us. He did not get back in touch with us and I would say he never pleaded our case. For they were way to big a company now to be worrying about a small operation in Western Ky.
  They knew our story from the beginning and there was a time when they were truly glad we rang and placed a order for their shoes. By no means is it scribed in stone that they will not need our help again or someone like us.
  It's funny how quickly people forget where they started at and lose sight of how they got to where their at today. No one person has done more to promote their shoes than Sue has. At the big rallies, Sue, may discuss shoes with up to 1500 ladies a day and more. This is her reward for being so loyal ... just kick sand in her face and cast her aside. They have not been a customer friendly company for some time and this goes back farther than the Myrtle Beach incident.
  No one in the company knows nor gives a rats ass as to how sad it made Sue feel to be treated so poorly, she diserves much better. In time it may come back to haunt this Croc Co. Negative word of mouth can be very harmfull but I bet the legal department knows nothing about that nor cares.
