Glow & go the “Original” full-length neon spark plug wires for your Harley Davidson motorcycle
These spark plug wires run neon from the plug to the coil, completely replacing the wire. These hand crafted glowing wires are made right hear in the USA by me (JD Lain). I started making this model because I tried on of the splice models and didn’t like them at all. Not only did it look bad … I didn’t like the way they connected to the wire. So … I went to school to learn how to bend the glass and started making the glowing full-length neon spark plug wires the way I thought they should be made. The rest is history.
I have expanded the full-length neon spark plug wires for Harley Davison’s to custom neon signs. I have been bending neon letter signs with graphics and logos … and getting pretty good at it. You can look at some of my work under the Neon Signs link. Since I have been going to all the Harley Rally’s, I started selling some accessories like accent lights, side stands, heat shields, foot pegs, mirrors, mounts,
chrome skull horn covers with LED eyes that light-up, tank bags and a lot of other stuff … and oh yeah Nuts (hahaha … I really got a kick out of those). I picked these accessories because they are good quality parts that I would put on my Harley (except Sue wouldn’t let me put a pair of nuts on my ride).
Added some of my own personal restoration projects under "JD's Motorcycle History". These are a few projects I have worked on over the years and my web guy got a kick out of them and told me to take some pitures of them so he could add them to the web. (I, the web guy, would have lost the bet if you told me Harley Davison made a scooter.)
Sue and I love to talk and visit with all the folks that stop at my trailer while we are at the Harley shows and rallies. Sue is still enjoying selling her shoes and collectables. We would love to hear from you … questions, comments, and stories about the glowing neon spark plug wires you have on you Harley Davidson.

Notes From J.D. Lain
To whomever wants to know the truth:
The neon spark plug wires that are advertised on this page are the ORIGINAL FULL LENGTH LIGHTED SPARK PLUG WIRES, running from the coil to the plug with "No Splicing". I'm the one who came up with the idea and was the only one manufacturing them until some slim ball, under the pretense of buying into my company, from Louisiana stole my design and patterns. Then he convinced one of the large after market suppliers to sell his product as if he was the original. So ... you can buy my neon spark plug wires, which I assure you are the original, or you can buy them from the S.O.B. from Louisiana and his companions.
Just had to get that off my chest!
and the rest of the story ....
Then the same prick bought some lights in Daytona from a Co. (NO MAGIC NEON) out of upper New York. So he tells the big after market store that he had invented these lights also. He convinces them to start selling these lights that he had stolen and started to manufacture. The fellows from upstate NY had some copyright protection on their product, thank goodness, plus a photo of the prick buying the lights in Daytona ... which he had tried to deny. When they went to the after market supplier and told them what was about to happen with law suit, they stopped buying from the prick in Louisiana and went with NY. SO! The fellow from the after market power house told me two years ago at Rapid City Harley Davidson parking lot, where we were all vending, that as soon as he sold out of his existing inventory from Louisiana he would get in touch with me, for he had no use dealing with such a prick. I have yet to hear from them so I guess they have a lot in COMMON. Now that is the rest of the story.
This slime ball prick from Louisiana is advertising a patent #7,018,080. This is an INVALAD patent. I would love, and don't understand why (if his patent is correct), to know why this slime ball piece of crap don't sue me for patent infringement.
